About Ted

 Ted Severns is a Freelance Photographer for Product, Sports, Action, and Aviation Photographer based in the Ventura County Area where he has been photographing since 1987.

Ted has specialized in Aviation Photographer from Civilian Aircraft, Military Aircraft, Warbirds and Airshow Photography . He’s a member of the International Association of Press Photographers, an internationally active association of journalists. Ted is also a sports photographer NewsmexX and UPA News.

One of he’s passions has been photographing Motorsports and have done everything from Indycar to local club racing.

In 2021 TS Sports Media has started photographing High School and College Sports . Also became a member of GF Crew for sports imaging that provides custom photos for athletes and their families.

Ted Severns started as a Photographer in 1985 with a Canon A1 film camera and 70-210 zoom as a hobbyist. Now he uses Nikon Z5, D750 and Nikon Z50 with a Tamron 100-400mm 4.5, Tamron 100-300 Z 5.6-6.3, Nikkor 70-200mm 2.8 VR along with Nikkor prime lenses and soon to be Nikkor 180-600 Z 5.6-6.3 VR Lens. Ted also does imaging, photos and videos for his medical profession as well.
